The Heckler & Koch XG86 is an advanced assault rifle after the G36 shortly became outdated. It is simply a reincarnation of the XM8. The XG86 is simply a combination which combines elements from the G36 and the XM8.
Yay for XM8's!
The XG86A1 (the one above) features a built-in dual scope and folding, collapsible stock, while the XG86A2 (the one below) features an upper rail and collapsible stock.
Chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO caliber.
